Privacy Policy

Introduction

IT Master ("we", "us", or "our") has established this Privacy Policy to describe how we handle information in the iOS application "Biblion" ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Article 1 – Information We Collect

(1) Information You Enter

• Book information (title, author, genre, reading status, reading period)
• Book cover images (selected from photo library or captured with camera)
• Memo content
• Task information
• Reading time records

All of this data is stored exclusively on your device (via CoreData) and is never transmitted to our servers.

(2) Information Sent When Using AI Features

When you use AI features (book summary, reading consultation, or SNS post generation), the following information is sent to our AI processing server:

• Book title and author name
• Memos associated with the book (if any)
• Your consultation input (when using the consultation feature)

This information is used solely to generate AI responses and is not permanently stored on our servers. Your AI usage history is stored only on your device.

(3) Information Collected for Advertising

The App displays advertisements via Google AdMob (Google LLC). Upon first launch, we request your permission for ad tracking under Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

• If you permit tracking: Google AdMob may use your device identifier (IDFA) to display personalized ads.
• If you decline: Non-personalized ads will be displayed without using your IDFA. Ads will still be shown.

Article 2 – How We Use Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Providing App features (book management, reading records, AI features, etc.)
• Generating AI feature responses
• Displaying advertisements (AdMob ads for Free and Basic plan users)
• Improving the App and addressing bugs

Article 3 – Device Permissions

The App uses the following device permissions:

• Camera: Barcode scanning and book cover photography (Basic plan and above)
• Photo Library: Selecting book cover images
• Notifications: Sending reading reminders (optional)
• Ad Tracking (ATT): Access to identifiers for personalized advertising (optional; permission requested on first launch)

All permissions can be changed or revoked at any time via your device's Settings.

Article 4 – Sharing with Third Parties

We do not share your information with third parties except in the following cases:

• When disclosure is required by law
• When information is sent to our AI processing service to the extent necessary to generate AI responses
• When information is shared with Google AdMob to the extent necessary for ad delivery (subject to your ATT consent status)

Article 5 – Data Storage and Deletion

All user data in the App (books, memos, tasks, reading records, AI history) is stored in your device's local storage.

• No automatic cloud backup is performed.
• All data is erased when the App is deleted.
• Data migration when changing or resetting your device may be possible via iCloud backup.

Article 6 – Consent for AI Features

When you use an AI feature for the first time, we ask for your consent to send book information to our AI processing service. You can withdraw this consent at any time via My Page > Data & Privacy within the App.

Withdrawing consent disables AI features, but all other features remain available.

Article 7 – Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 is using the App, please contact us at support@it-master.jp.

Article 8 – Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced via App Store release notes or our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
